Inside each of us lives a younger self , the child we once were. That child carries not only our earliest joys and curiosities, but also our deepest pains. When those wounds remain unhealed, they silently influence the way we think, feel, and relate to others.

What Are Inner Child Wounds?

Inner child wounds are emotional imprints from our formative years. They arise when a child’s core needs love, safety, acceptance, or belonging  are unmet. This can happen through neglect, criticism, abandonment, or even subtle moments of feeling unseen or unheard.

As adults, these wounds often show up as:

  • Fear of rejection or abandonment
  • Difficulty trusting or forming healthy relationships
  • Perfectionism and self-criticism
  • People-pleasing at the cost of personal truth
  • Feeling “not enough” no matter what we do

Why Healing Matters

Healing your inner child isn’t about dwelling on the past, it’s about reclaiming your power in the present. When you do this work, you release patterns that hold you back and step into greater confidence, compassion, and emotional freedom.

How I Guide You Through This Journey

As your coach, I guide you through the process of shadow work in a safe and structured way. Together, we use:

  • Guided meditations to connect with your inner child
  • Conscious dialogue to give your younger self a voice
  • Shadow work practices to uncover hidden beliefs and patterns
  • Re-parenting tools to create safety, love, and acceptance from within

This is deep work, but you don’t have to do it alone. With the right support, you can face the parts of yourself you’ve been avoiding and discover that they’ve been waiting for your love all along.

First Steps Toward Healing

  1. Acknowledge your inner child recognize that younger self still lives within you.
  2. Create space for listening journaling or guided reflection opens the door.
  3. Practice self-compassion, choose kindness over criticism in your self-talk.
  4. Seek guidance having a coach by your side helps you move through the hard parts safely and effectively.

The Transformation

When you begin this work, you stop living from old wounds and start living from wholeness. You create healthier relationships, a stronger sense of self-worth, and the freedom to be authentically you.

Your inner child doesn’t need perfection, they need presence. And with me as your coach, you’ll have the tools, guidance, and support to walk this journey with courage.
